As you are most likely aware, there are countless homeless people all across America. Due to a variety of circumstances many people are left with no other option but to live on the streets.

With relatively no means of transportation they must often walk from place to place. I have personally seen many "shoeless" people and I've also observed a few with shoes made of smashed two liter bottles and twine. Others wear shoes that are way too small for their feet causing severe blisters and in some extreme cases, deformation.

Thankfully there are a myriad of good hearted individuals that dedicate a good portion of their lives, their finances, time and energy to help meet many of the physical needs of the disadvantaged that primarily fall under the category of homeless.

Seeing this tremendous need for footwear amongst the homeless, I decided to do something about it.

This was the "Edison", moment when again it dawned on me that I had thought about manufacturing shoes years ago to give away to people when my family and I were missionaries in Honduras.

I picked up and embraced the name "Soulscount" from a Pastor friend while serving on the field almost two decades ago and since then I've used it in many different arenas. Recently it dawned on me that not only do "Soulscount" but their "Soles-Count"!

There could be no better time than the present to put soles on the canvas and produce this footwear.

I hope that you can "step into", this vision and partner with me to provide shoes for every homeless person in every city across the USA.
